My first appointment won't be my last! Went in for a cut, style, and balayage. Staff were all friendly, felt very inclusive. Gillian took time to go through my previous pics, my inspiration pics, likes and dislikes and then approached conservatively. After, we discussed what we might do differently next time (nothing was bad, I love the effort to strive for perfect!). Thanks to all! Love the style.

I had gone to Utopia for over 10 years and gone through 3 different stylists. All were very good. However I suffer from several debilitating physical ailments and had no showed on my last scheduled appointment. I received a very rude call from a young lady who indicated that the card they tried to use to charge the no show fee had been declined. It was decline because the card had been hacked and needed to be replaced. I don't know all of the places that I added auto withdrawal from that card. I tried to explain this to the young lady on the phone and offered to provide a new card during our conversation. I was advised that "we don't do that." I offered to come in and pay cash and was told it was too late to do that and from now on I could not call to schedule appointments with Olga but would have to come in on a walk-in basis and get who I got. This might not have been an issue, but over the past several 10+ years I had spend several thousands of dollars, always leaving above the normal tip amounts and at one point had been verbally accosted by another customer who had been sitting next to me and was upset and disappointed with her haircut. I called today 9/6, after 3 years of going to other substandard salons to see if I could come back to see Olga. I was told that I was on a restricted list that I had refused to pay the no show and that when they tried to contact me I did not respond. All of that was false and hurtful. I asked to speak to the owner, Lisa,.and was told she was in a meeting and would call me back "later." I would like to straighten this out and go back to seeing my favored stylist Olga. However if after 3 years I am to be kept on a "restricted" list, I will continue my search for a more forgiving and empathetic salon to take my business to.Per my last review, I received a call from the owner of Utopia, Lisa, which culminated in to a very positive and mutual understanding of both perceptions of my previous contact with one of the receptionists at the salon back in January of 2023. As a result of this meeting ofnthe minds, all restrictions have been removed from my client account, all profile information updated and an appointment scheduled for myself with Olga on 9/19 at 2pm. I am very happy with the positive, productive and professional manner of my communication with Lisa and am THRILLED to be going back to my absolute favorite stylist Olga. Mutual respect and open communication is the best way to resolve issues and I'm impressed and appreciative for this dialog. And after trying several other salons, I can now attest that Utopia deserves the Best of Clark County's title mutliple times over. And I look forward to many more years of great service at my still favorite salon. Thank you Lisa!

Lindsay is a genius. A goddess. I had committed the almost unforgivable sin of highlighting at home. I am a novice to put it mildly and Lindsay is a marvel. She fixed my horrible, self-inflicted mistake but more than thought she transformed it into something lovely.Thank you, Lindsay!!!(I wish that I could have left you a bigger tip. That was a long and expensive day. I will be back!)

Even when my stylist had an emergency they made sure to let me know with as much heads up as possible and made sure I still got the service I needed in the timeframe I needed.
